What's next.
This is the one page on our site that describes things Hoamly does not do yet. It is direction, not a commitment, and it carries no dates. Everything on every other page is live today.
How to read this page. We expect to build these in the order our customers' pain tells us to, and some may not be built at all. If you are deciding on Hoamly because of something listed here, tell us, and we will tell you honestly where it stands.
Direction, by area
Budgets and fund accounting
- Annual budgets by ledger line, with board approval, budget versus actual and variance alerts.
- A funds ledger: every transaction tagged to a fund, fund statements, a special-assessment fund, reserve health and board-approved transfers between funds. Operating and reserve labels on accounts exist today.
- A suggested yearly assessment from the budget and the reserve study.
Reports and analytics
- A longer report library: budget versus actual, cash flow, reserve fund schedule, general ledger detail, delinquency, payment activity, assessment billing, collections pipeline, vendor payment summary, invoice register and reserve study input.
- A board meeting financial packet and a year-end audit package.
- Report export to PDF, CSV and JSON, and scheduled report emails.
- An analytics co-pilot for plain-language questions, and predictive views such as delinquency risk and reserve projections.
More ways to pay and reconcile
- Partial payments and refunds.
- AI matching of payments to bills, with a review queue that shows the AI's reasoning, and payments applied in each state's legal order.
- Lockbox file import, mobile check deposit, instant payments and Zelle.
- Bank statement file import alongside the Plaid feed, AI help on reconciliation exceptions, positive pay, and low-balance and unusual-transaction alerts.
- Pro-rated bills when ownership changes mid-period, and board approval before a special assessment is billed.
State rules as data
- A state-rules engine stored as data files, so adding a state does not take a software release. California, Florida and Texas rules are built in today.
- A compliance calendar and state-required disclosures.
Accounting sync and self-serve migration
- Two-way QuickBooks Online sync, a QuickBooks Desktop export file, then the same for Xero and Sage.
- An import wizard: upload exports, suggested field mapping, a dry run, a watched import with an error file and undo, totals compared with the previous system, and manager plus board sign-off before homeowner invitations. Assisted data load by the Hoamly team is how migration works today.
Developer platform and connectors
- A public REST API with a developer portal, keys and a sandbox, and outbound webhooks for events such as a payment received or a request created.
- An MCP server so AI assistants can work with Hoamly data within a user's permissions.
- Slack, Zapier and Make connectors.
- Single sign-on with your own identity provider.
Hoamly AI
- AI matching of an invoice to its open work order.
- Staff Ask AI taking a confirmed action that writes data. Today it answers questions.
- Turning an inbound email into a request.
- In-context AI help on the screen a homeowner is already on.
- Registered AI agents with short-lived permissions a person can grant and revoke, an approval queue, a no-code skills builder and a skills marketplace.
Security and compliance program
- Two-factor sign-in, and a custom domain for your company after ownership is verified.
- Association-level isolation in the database, on top of today's company-level isolation.
- A records retention schedule, scheduled access reviews and vulnerability management.
- Independent attestations such as SOC 2. We will say we hold one when we hold it, not before.
- Homeowner attendance and quorum at annual meetings. Board attendance and quorum exist today.
Direction, not commitment. No dates. For what is live today, see the platform.
